The Recognized Organization (RO) is fully authorised to:

a) review and approve drawings, plans, booklets, manuals and other documents required by International Conventions and related Codes, and National/European Union Legislation.

b) conduct surveys and issue respective certification in accordance with International Conventions and related Codes and National/European Union Legislation

c) conduct surveys and issue Statements/Documents of Compliance in respect of IMO Conventions and related Codes and ILO Conventions that have not yet entered into force or which have entered into force but not yet ratified by Malta.
